KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE, Apr 15 — On the morning of April 14, Russian troops dropped a munition from a drone on the village of Mala Vovcha, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region. The Russian hit killed a 57-year-old woman, said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
In just one day, about 15 towns and villages in the Kharkiv Oblast came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.
In particular, on the evening of April 14, the Russian army hit the village of Slatyne, Kharkiv district, with an airstrike, injuring a 51-year-old woman. The Russian shelling also damaged a private enterprise, shattered 12 windows of an apartment building, and smashed windows in a private house.
Also on April 14, Russians shelled Kruhliakivka, Kupiansk district, with new modified UMPB-D30 glide air bombs, damaging a residential building and a car.
In addition, the Russian military shelled the village of Shestakove in the Chuhuiv district using a Lancet drone. Two cars were damaged due to the attack. The Russians also shelled the village of Ivashky, Bohodukhiv district, damaging two private houses and one outbuilding.
According to Syniehubov, the situation on the Kharkiv region’s border with the Russian Federation is currently calm and fully under the control of the Ukrainian forces.
Syniehubov also called rumors about a possible Russian offensive on Kharkiv manipulations, saying, “Russia has only one goal, it’s to terrorize civilians, to commit terrorist acts. They have no other goals since 2022.”
