UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul 12 — Last night, on July 11, the Russian army hit the residential sector of the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz in the Vovchansk community with air strikes, killing and injuring people, reported the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

SES reported that the Russian bombing killed three people — two men and a woman. The attack also injured eight people. The explosions destroyed residential buildings and outbuildings.

The bomb attack caused fires. Two one-story apartment buildings and outbuildings with a total area of about 1800 m2 caught fire at different addresses.

Also, on that day, July 11, around 4 p.m., the Russians once again attacked the village of Borova in the Izium district with a multiple rocket launcher, destroying more than 12 houses.

One of the shells hit the houses of an entire street in the village. A fire broke out in one household. The attack injured four civilians: two men aged 52 and 69 and two women aged 30 and 70. All of them received medical aid at the site.

The General Staff reported that, over the past day, Russian troops conducted 14 air strikes on the territory of the Kharkiv region, dropping 28 guided bombs (KABs).

The Russians dropped KABs on eight different settlements, including Vovchansk, Lyptsi, and Starytsia.
