UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 26 — Over the past day, the Russian army attacked at least eight towns and villages in the Kharkiv region in the Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv districts. No casualties were reported, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

According to Syniehubov, Russia launched a missile attack at an infrastructure facility in Chuhuiv. The grass caught fire in the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz, Chuhuiv district, burning over about a hectare of land.

The Russian shelling caused grass in a two-hectare area in the village of Senkove, Kupiansk district, to catch fire. Also, in the village of Velykyi Burluk, the Russian shelling also burned grass and shrubs.

In addition, the Russians caused an abandoned garden house and grass to burn in the village of Novoosynove. In Sadovod village, the Russian FPV drone attack destroyed a two-story apartment building.

In the village of Odnorobivka, Bohodukhiv district, the Russian military shelled the outskirts of the village with artillery, also causing a fire, damaging a house and outbuildings, and power grids in the village.

In the village of Svitlychne, the shelling damaged a house and a two-story apartment building, power lines, and the premises of a local agricultural enterprise.
