UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 25 — Around 8:00 a.m., the Russian shelling of Borova village killed a 61-years-old woman, reported the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

At around 10 p.m. on October 24, the village of Bilashi in Kharkiv district came under Russian fire, too. The Russian attack damaged a house, no injuries have been reported.

Ihor Klymenko, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, announced that since the beginning of 2024, Russia has launched more than 3,700 glide bomb attacks on the Kharkiv region. In 2023, there were “just a little more than 100 attacks like that.” Most of Russia’s targets were energy and civilian infrastructure.
