UKRAINE, July 3 — As of today, the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine has killed 555 children and injured 1,429 others, reported the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

The Kharkiv Oblast is the second among Ukrainian regions in terms of the number of children affected by the war. In particular, the Russian army affected 402 children in the Kharkiv region.

Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast Governor, reported that at around 4:12 p.m. on July 2, the Russian army attacked the enterprise in Kharkiv. The blast wave injured two women, a 15-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl.

The governor said on Ukrainian TV on June 27 that over the past month, more than 12,000 residents of the frontline towns of Vovchansk, Kupiansk, and Lyptsi districts have been evacuated due to the Russian shelling.
