UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, July 29 — As of July 28, the Russian invasion has killed 564 children and injured 1,487 others in Ukraine. In the Kharkiv region, the Russians affected 407 children, reported the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The Kharkiv Oblast is the second among Ukrainian regions in terms of the number of children affected by the war. In the Donetsk region, the war affected 564 children, 155 in the Kherson region, 158 in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 131 in the Kyiv region, and 121 in the Zaporizhzhia region.

On July 13, the Russians shelled Budy village in the Kharkiv region, injuring a nine-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl.

Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast, told Ukrainian TV that 32 families have been evacuated from the Vovchansk community and 40 from the Borova community in the Kharkiv region.

Syniehubov said that 168 children remain in Vovchansk and Borova communities.
