KUPIANSK, UKRAINE, May 15 — At about 7:30 a.m., a Russian FPV drone hit the center of Kupiansk, injuring a woman, reported the Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
The Prosecutor’s Office says that a Russian drone injured a 33-year-old woman who was walking down the street at the time of the attack.
In addition, at about 10:00 a.m., the Russian army hit the village of Mala Danylivka with airstrikes. The shelling damaged the premises of an outpatient clinic, a library, and 11 multi-story buildings. Two cars, including a medical staff vehicle, were destroyed. The attack also injured four employees of the medical facility: three women and a man.
Evacuation is currently underway in the region as the Russians launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the Kharkiv region. The border communities came under heavy Russian shelling and air strikes.
Volodymyr Tymoshko, the head of the Kharkiv police, reported that today, Russian troops attacked settlements in the Kharkiv region with multiple rocket launchers, airstrikes, artillery, and drones. They killed three people and injured three others.
According to Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov, police, volunteers, and rescuers evacuated 7,991 people from the border communities of Kharkiv Oblast.
