UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep. 3 — Russian troops launched an FPV drone at a 50-year-old man who was riding a bicycle in the Kozacha Lopan, a village north of the Kharkiv region, located 1.24 miles from the Russian border. The man died immediately, said Viacheslav Zadorenko, head of Derhachi military administration.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked eight settlements in Kharkiv Oblast with three aerial guided bombs, three Geran-2 drones, and two FPV drones, reported Oleh Syneihubov, the governor of Kharkiv region. There were no casualties.
Russian attacks destroyed or damaged two cars, five houses, a shop, and a pharmacy in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and the Izium district.
Zadorenko also reported about a FPV drone attack on a civilian car moving on the road between the settlements of Tsupivka and Nova Kozacha in the Derhachi community. The attack broke off the car’s wheel and hood, but the driver was not injured.
Earlier, Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov said that Russia attacked Kharkiv 14 times in August, killing seven people, including two children. Russians also injured 56 people, including 11 children.
