UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jun 6 — Over the past day, Russia attacked two settlements with aviation and led 14 assaults on Ukrainian positions in the Kharkiv region, said the General Staff.
On June 5, Russia conducted nine attacks near Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory in Kharkiv direction.
On the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian forces recorded five Russian assaults near Zapadne, Petropavlivka, Zahryzove, and Holubivka.
ISW also reported possible Russian advances in the Kupiansk direction. Geolocated footage published on June 5 indicates Russian forces have advanced into central Kindrashivka (north of Kupiansk). The Ukrainian military didn’t confirm this information.
Russia also attacked six settlements in Kharkiv Oblast over the past day, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the region. The attacks injured a 53-year-old woman in Novoosynove village, a 74-year-old woman in Kupiansk, and an 86-year-old man in Ivanchukivka village.
