UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 14 — At 10:30 a.m., a Russian FPV drone hit a humanitarian aid center in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. The drone attack injured a 64-year-old man and damaged his car, according to Kharkiv regional police.
Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.
The man sustained an explosive injury. He is in the hospital. The car was heavily damaged in the attack.
On July 30, Serhii Bolvinov, head of the investigation department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, reported that the Russian army started launching massive drone attacks on civilians.
Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast, reported that on the morning of August 7, Russian troops hit Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), damaging a car.
Viktor Kovalenko, the head of the Zolochiv Military Administration, told Gwara Media that on August 2, Russians launched a drone strike on a kindergarten in Zolochiv.
