UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep 2 — Russian troops shelled Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, killing a 65-year-old woman. The shelling damaged a residential building, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

On the morning of September 1, the Russian shelling injured two people in the village of Staryi Merchyk, Bohodukhiv district. In Liubotyn, Kharkiv district, the Russians injured three people.

Also, on the morning of September 1, Russians attacked Kupiansk, injuring a 78-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman. The roof of a house caught fire after the shelling.

At night, the Russian army launched a combined attack on Kharkiv with drones and missiles made in North Korea, injuring a 66-year-old woman.
