UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep 10 — On the morning of September 9, a Russian drone struck a civilian car in Kupiansk, injuring a 71-year-old and 49-year-old men, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

Oleh Syniehubov said that the Russians attacked the settlement several times during the day. In the afternoon of the same day, the Russians dropped a glide bomb (KAB) on three shops, causing them to burn. In the evening, grass, reeds, and the remains of household materials were burning in an area of one hectare due to the shelling.

In the village of Velyki Prokhody, Kharkiv district, the FPV drone attack injured a 52-year-old man and damaged an excavator.

The FPV drone attack also damaged a house in the village of Zakharivka, Kupiansk district, injuring a 57-year-old man.

The Russian shelling caused fires to burn over an area of almost seven hectares in the villages of Osynove, Zahryzove, Novooleksandrivka, and Peresichne 

In the village of Perovske, Zolochiv community, the mortar shelling damaged a house and outbuildings. In Novoosynove village, Kupiansk district, an outbuilding ca fire in the aftermath of a Russian attack.

In total, according to Syniehubov, over the past day, Russians struck civilian infrastructure with nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and launched two FPV drones.
