UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 20 — Russian troops attacked Kupiansk, injuring a 47-year-old man. In addition, they injured a 78-year-old woman in the Kupiansk district, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

In Kozacha Lopan, the Russian attack damaged two houses, injuring a 54-year-old man and a woman.

On the morning of August 20, Russian troops struck Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi. They also attacked Borova, damaging three houses.

Syniehubov said that in total, during the day, Russian troops fired two Kh-38 missiles, three glide bombs (KABs), and one FPV drone at civilian infrastructure and residents of the Kharkiv region.
