UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec 16 – Between December 9 and 15, Russian attacks on the Kharkiv region injured 22 people. 17 of them were injured in aRussian missile attack on December 10 on the town of Zlatopil, Lozova district, reported the State Emergency Service.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian shelling and airstrikes, often during the full-scale invasion, as Moscow targets civilian and critical infrastructure in the region.

On December 13, Russians launched two missile attacks on a civilian enterprise in the village of Myrne, Berestyn district. The attack damaged civilian infrastructure and injured four people.

On the same day, a Russian drone hit the roof of a five-story residential building in Kharkiv’s Industriyalnyi district, causing a fire over an area of 5m². No casualties have been reported.

Also, on December 15, Russia fired a ballistic missile at the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. It hit the ground on the territory of a sports complex, injuring a 48-year-old woman.

The SES also said that over the past week, their units were involved in putting out five fires caused by Russian shelling in Izium, Kupiansk, Lozova, Kharkiv districts, and the city of Kharkiv.
