On September 8, around 2:30 AM, the Russian army shelled Petropavlivka of the Kupiansk district, wounding one person, says the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov. 

Shelling of the village wounded a man of 68; he was hospitalized. At night, the Russian army also shelled Kucherivka of the Kupiansk district. The shelling damaged a residential building. 

According to Syniehubov, in the past day, the Russian army hit Kharkiv, Bohoduhiv, Chuhuiiv, and Kupiansk districts with artillery, mortar shells, and airstrikes: 

  • Hraniv village in the Kharkiv district – a Russian drone hit a private house. A woman of 77 years was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds;
  • Kolodizne village in the Kupiansk district – the shelling damaged the canteen building; 
  • Zidky village in the Chuhuiiv district and Kurylivka in the Kupiansk district – the shelling started the forest fire.
