The Russian army hit Kharkiv city centre, with only a school, a theatre, an office, and residential buildings. One more night shelling hit a car park near the airport.
“Regarding the night shelling. One hit was on a car park near the airport. The second was on the city’s central Rymarska street There is no military facility there, just a school, a theatre, office and residential buildings. The missile hit the road, the water supply was cut off, windows were smashed in the surrounding buildings, and five cars were damaged,” Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov commented on the missile strikes.
In both cases, no casualties were reported.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, also added that the hits were recorded in the Slobodskyy and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv. The missiles were preliminarily S-300.
