UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Dec 27 — Over the past day, the Russian army lost 102 troops in the Kharkiv direction, reported the “Kharkiv” group of forces.  

Russia started its offensive north and northeast in the Kharkiv region on May 10, but Ukrainian troops have stabilized the frontline in this section since. Now, heavy battles are ongoing in and around Vovchansk (three miles from the border, 46 miles away from Kharkiv) and near Lyptsi (six miles from the border, 12 miles from Kharkiv.)

Ukrainian troops also destroyed five Russian ammunition storage sites in the Kharkiv direction over the past day, 93 personnel shelters, a drone launch position, and one fuel and oil storage facility.

The Russians also lost 64 units of weapons and military equipment, including one tank, three artillery systems, 14 vehicles, eight units of special equipment, and 38 drones.

In total, Russian troops conducted ten strikes in the Kharkiv direction over the past day, using 16 glide bombs, 47 unguided aerial missiles, 74 kamikaze drone strikes, and fired 455 times at Ukrainian positions.
