KHARKIV, UKRAINE, May 3 — At about 2:00 p.m., an explosion was heard in Kharkiv. As the Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported, the Russians hit the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city.
Russia hit the city with an airstrike from the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, using an UMPD D-30 glide bomb.
An 82-year-old woman died in an attack. The Russian bomb hit her house directly, trapping her under the rubble. Law enforcement officials said that the woman was seriously ill and bedridden.
In addition, the Russian bombing injured two men: a 78-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction, and the blast wave injured a 66-year-old man.
Also, 12 private houses were damaged, three more were destroyed to the ground, and a tram passing nearby was hit by the blast wave, with no casualties.
