UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 28 — On the afternoon of August 27, the Russian army dropped a glide bomb (KAB) on the center of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, injuring at least eight people, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast. 

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and air strikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, the Russian bomb hit the central part of the city and the city administration building. Currently, it’s known about eight injured. Medics are providing medical aid at the impact site.

At around 10:00 p.m. on August 27, the Russian army shelled Izium, Kharkiv region, from multiple rocket launcher systems (MRLS), injuring 12 people, including five children.
