UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, July 4 — The Russian army dropped 36 guided bombs (KABs) on the Kharkiv region over the past day, injuring about 17 people, reported Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast Governor.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.

Syniehubov said that at around 4 p.m., Russian troops shelled the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, injuring 14 people. The Russian attack damaged two buildings, 10 houses, 12 apartment buildings, a cafe, a post office, a two-story sports club and two university buildings.

In addition, the Russian military shelled the village of Hlushkivka in the Kupiansk district, injuring two women and one man. They also destroyed six private houses and two outbuildings and damaged eight houses and nine outbuildings.

In the Chuhuiv district, the Russians injured a man. The shelling damaged a farm, two combines, five tractors, and a warehouse building.

The Russian shelling injured three people in Ruska Lozova. The Russians destroyed 11 houses, three outbuildings, and damaged five cars.

The Russian military also shelled Kozacha Lopan in the Derhachi community. A shop caught fire. In the village of Nova Kozacha, a Russian drone hit and damaged the windows, and doors of a residential building and an outbuilding. The Russians also shelled an agricultural enterprise in the village of Slatyne. The shelling damaged the roof of the hangar.

In the village of Zemlianyi Yar, Chuhuiv district, the Russian attack burned a hangar, agricultural machinery, a car, five tons of grain, and construction materials.
