UKRAINE, IZIUM DISTRICT, Nov. 4 — Russian troops advanced near Borivska Andriivka village in the Izium district of Kharkiv oblast, reported DeepState, Ukraine’s war monitoring project.

DeepState added that, according to their data, Russia advanced in Karpivka, Kozatske, and Pokrovsk in Donetsk oblast. 

Borivska Andriivka is a village on the left bank of the Oskil River, in the Borova hromada (community), located southeast of the Kharkiv region. Currently, 920 people remain on the left bank of the river in the community, and 536 stay on the right bank. 

Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, the head of the Borova community, told Gwara’s journalists that those who stayed are not very willing to evacuate, even under incessant shelling. 

Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in their assessment from Nov. 2 also reported Russian advance in the Borova direction. There, according to their analysts, their goal in this region is to push deeper into Kharkiv oblast and completelyoccupy Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
