UKRAINE, Feb. 25 — Over the past two days, Russian forces conducted nonstop drone attacks on gas storage and production objects of Naftogaz Group, the largest Ukrainian national oil and gas state company. Russians used over 60 drones for their attack, reported the press service of the Naftogaz Group.
Repair crews of Naftogaz, together with units of the State Emergency Service, will assess the consequences and begin eliminating them, said Sergii Koretskyi, chief executive officer of Naftogaz.
In 2025, Russian attacks “wiped out” nearly 60% of Ukraine’s domestic natural gas production, Bloomberg writes, referring to their sources “with the knowledge of the matter” in Kyiv.
