KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE, May 10 — On May 9, at about 10:15 a.m., Russian troops attacked Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, reported the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Russians attack the Kharkiv region, which borders Russia, daily. Their troops strike the towns and villages of the region with S-300 missiles, Iranian-made Shahed drones, glide bombs, and mortars.
Russians are also not abandoning their goal of occupying Kupiansk, a city in the Kharkiv region, again. It is a logistics and railway hub between Kharkiv and Luhansk oblasts, and seizing it would allow the Russian army to boost its supply efforts.
Over the past day, 21 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.
In particular, in Lyptsi, Kharkiv district, the Russian shelling caused the roof of a private house and an outbuilding to catch fire. A 62-year-old woman was injured.
In addition, at night, Russia shelled Kharkiv. An 11-year-old child and a 72-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
