UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr 22 — From April 21 to 22, the Russian army attacked settlements in the Kharkiv region with various types of weapons, killing three people and injuring six others, reported Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast governor.
On the eve of Easter, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the Russian side would cease all hostilities from 6:00 p.m. on April 19 to 00:00 on April 21. During the “Easter ceasefire,” the Russian army continued the attacks in Kharkiv Oblast.
Then, from April 21 to 22, in Kupiansk district, Russia killed a 54-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man by dropping a guided bomb near the house in Petropavlivka village. A 58-year-old woman got a concussion after a Russian drone hit a gas pipe in Kupiansk city. On April 22, Russian forces dropped four guided bombs on Kupiansk, injuring four people and damaging 10 houses.
In Bohodukhiv district, a Russian first-person view (FPV) drone killed a 24-year-old man in Ivashky village. The other Russian FPV drone damaged two houses, outbuildings, and the electricity network in Klynova Novoselivka village. In Morozova Dolyna village, another Russian FPV drone hit the substation, leaving it, along with nearby Huriv and Lemishcheno villages, without power.
In Horokhovatka village, Izium district, Russians dropped two air bombs, injuring a 47-year-old woman and 55-year-old man, damaging 11 houses, three shops, a post office, and setting fire to two homes, outbuildings, and a garage on an area of 100 square meters.
Russia also attacked Rubizhne village in Chuhuiv district, setting fire to seven houses, 15 outbuildings, and grass on an area of 2,9 hectares.
Near Starovirivka village in Berestyn district, debris from the Russian decoy drone was found. The Russian army is more often using imitator drones, which don’t have an explosive part but are visually similar to combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and sometimes detected as them on radars.
