UKRAINE, Aug 18 — Since the Ukrainian counteroffensive operations in November 2022, when Ukrainian forces advanced in Kharkiv and Kherson regions, Russia occupied 0.968% of Ukrainian territories, reported DeepState, an OSINT war monitoring group.
On September 6, 2022, Ukrainian Forces started the counteroffensive operation in Kharkiv Oblast, which led to the almost complete liberation of the region.
As of October 2022, Ukrainian troops advanced to the Russian border and liberated 544 settlements, said Oleh Syneihubov, the governor of the region, during the briefing.
The Kherson counteroffensive continued from August till November 11, 2022, when Kherson was liberated.
“Russians had a certain success in the first days of the full-scale invasion, but Ukrainian forces returned a large part of our territories during the counteroffensive in Kharkiv and Kherson regions,” said DeepState.
Over the past three years, Russia has occupied 5,842 square kilometers. Ukraine’s total area is 603,628 square kilometers.
“We hope our American partners will get these numbers because of their math problems,” said DeepState.
Earlier, Donald Trump, the American President, said during a meeting with journalists that Russia could occupy the whole of Ukraine if he weren’t the president.
Russia still attacks Ukrainian forces’ positions to continue, including in Kharkiv Oblast — they conducted 25 attacks over the past day.
