UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 28 — Over the past day, Russian forces attacked seven settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, injuring six people, reported governor Oleh Syniehubov.
Over the night on August 28, Russian forces hit Ukraine with 629 air attack weapons, including drones and missiles, said the Ukrainian Air Forces.
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian attacks injured three men aged 47, 50, and 69 and a 70-year-old woman in Kupiansk. They also injured a 70-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man in Chuhuiv district.
Russian attacks destroyed or damaged four private houses, two residential buildings, three cars, four farms, and a garage in Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv districts.
In Kupiansk district, Russians damaged an ambulance, a civilian car, and a business.
Russian troops launched 11 attack drones of different types at Kharkiv Oblast. In Kyiv, one of Russian missiles hit a residential building, killing 15 people, including four children, said Tymur Tkachenko, the head of Kyiv military administration. Rescue operations there are ongoing.
