UKRAINE, KUPIANSK, Oct. 29 — Russian President Vladimir Putin claims that Russian troops encircled the Ukrainian military in Kupinansk, a city in the east of the Kharkiv region. The Armed Forces of Ukraine denied this information.
According to the last information published by DeepState, OSINT war monitoring group, Russian troops advanced and are now expanding their foothold in central Kupinask.
On Oct. 29, in Kupiansk direction, the Ukrainian army repelled seven attacks near the settlements of Pishchane, Hlushkivka, and Boguslavka. Another combat clash is ongoing, reported the General Staff.
The Ukrainian Joint Group of Forces said fighting is ongoing in Kupiansk itself and on Kupiansk axis, with Russian forces attempting to hold their positions in the northern part of the city.
The Ukrainian military noted that any claims that Ukrainian troops are encircled in Kupiansk are “pure fiction and fantasy, with no factual basis on the ground.”
Gwara Media couldn’t independently verify this information.
