UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Sep 2 —  On August 31, the Russians attacked Kharkiv with a hybrid of a missile and a glide aerial bomb, the Grom-E1, for the second time, said the spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Dmytro Chubenko, in a comment to Gwara Media.

Russia constantly modifies its weapons to attack Ukrainian cities. These adaptations often include upgrades to missile systems, drones, and other weapons to bypass Ukrainian defenses and increase damage that can be brought to Ukraine’s civilians and its cities’ civil and critical infrastructure.

In total, during the full-scale invasion, the Russians used Grom-E1 five times in the the region. On March 27, the Russians used such a munition to attack Borova, Izium district, for the first time

After that, the village came under fire from Grom-E1 three more times — on April 3, 10, and 12. The Russians also used it on April 12 against Kupiansk and on May 2 against the village of Ostroverkhivka in the Chuhuiv district.
