UKRAINE, Dec 20 — Norway will finance a part of the military aid package to Ukraine, which will be allocated through the International Fund for Ukraine, led by the UK Ministry of Defense, European Pravda reports, citing a government statement.
The Norwegian government has decided to allocate 186 million pounds (about $232.5 million) for an international aid package to Ukraine.
The aid package includes 92 million pounds (about $115 million) for equipment to strengthen Ukraine’s navy, including small boats, reconnaissance drones, unmanned surface vessels, and mine countermeasures drones.
It also includes 68 million pounds (about $85 million) for air defense equipment, including radars, ground camouflage equipment, and electronic warfare systems to be used against drones.
Norway will also provide 26 million pounds (about $32.5 million) to support and spare parts for critical systems previously supplied to Ukraine.
