UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 7 — In the Kharkiv region, the Russian military uses various types of chemical weapons against the Defense Forces from time to time, reported the deputy commander of the Achilles strike drone battalion on Ukrainian TV.

According to the statistics of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the end of August this year, Russians have used chemical munitions against the Defense Forces 4,035 times since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

According to the deputy commander, the Russians’ chemical weapons include chlorine, ammonia, and phosphorus bombs.

On September 9, the General Staff reported that the Russians also used chemical munitions against the Ukrainian military, including K-51 and RG-VO, both of which are anti-riot agents and are prohibited for use as weapons of war.
