UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep 2 — Over the past day, the Russian army has begun to build up electronic warfare and set up communication systems in the Kharkiv region near Tykhe, reported the “Kharkiv” group of forces.
Russia started its new offensive north and northeast in the Kharkiv region in May, but Ukrainian troops have stabilized the frontline in this section since. Now, heavy battles are ongoing in and around Vovchansk (three miles from the border, 46 miles away from Kharkiv) and near Lyptsi (six miles from the border, 12 miles from Kharkiv.)
The military reported that the Russian army is establishing cooperation between units near Hlyboke, evacuating casualties, and using tanks against the Defense Forces. The Russians evacuate their casualties near Starytsia and replace personnel on the frontlines.
In Vovchansk, the Russian army continues assaults near the high-rise buildings. In addition to aerial reconnaissance and establishing a communication system, there was an attempt to deploy three BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles to support theшк assault groups.
The “Kharkiv” reported that on the Kharkiv axis, Russia launched three missiles and 31 kamikaze drone attacks over the past day. They also fired 399 times at the positions of Ukraine’s troops.
