UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec 11 – On December 10, the Russians attacked seven times near the towns of Vovchansk, Lyptsi, and Starytsia. In total, Russian troops fired 244 times at Ukrainian positions and also conducted 30 kamikaze drone strikes, reported the “Kharkiv” group of forces.

Russia started its new offensive north and northeast in the Kharkiv region in May, but Ukrainian troops have stabilized the frontline in this section since. Now, heavy battles are ongoing in and around Vovchansk (three miles from the border, 46 miles away from Kharkiv) and near Lyptsi (six miles from the border, 12 miles from Kharkiv.)

The “Kharkiv” reported that in the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army lost 73 troops over the past day. Russian troops also lost 23 units of weapons and military equipment, including four armored combat vehicles, one vehicle, one unit of special equipment, and 17 unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Ukrainian army also destroyed 51 shelters for Russian military personnel and one UAV launch position.
