UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec 2 – Over the past day, the Russian army lost 50 units of weapons and military equipment in the Kharkiv direction, reported the “Kharkiv” group of forces.
Russia started its new offensive north and northeast in the Kharkiv region in May, but Ukrainian troops have stabilized the frontline in this section since. Now, heavy battles are ongoing in and around Vovchansk (three miles from the border, 46 miles away from Kharkiv) and near Lyptsi (six miles from the border, 12 miles from Kharkiv.)
The “Kharkiv” reports that the Russians lost five tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 12 vehicles, five special equipment units, and 22 drones.
Also, the “Kharkiv” group of forces reported the Russian army lost 148 servicemen over the past day. In addition, the Ukrainian army destroyed 63 Russian personnel’s shelters and two ammunition and fuel and oil storage sites.
In just one day, the Russians launched 30 kamikaze drone strikes and fired 418 times at Ukrainian positions.
