UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep 10 — The Russians dropped a FAB-250 glide bomb (UMPB D-30) on Kharkiv on September 9, damaging more than 30 houses in the Kyivskyi district, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on Ukrainian TV.

Russian army attacks Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, often because it’s close to the border and the frontline. Their attacks intensified significantly since Moscow launched a new ground offensive north of the Kharkiv region in May.

Ihor Terekhov said that the Russians completely destroyed one of the houses, but there were no casualties.

In addition, the Russian attack partially cut off power to Northern Saltivka [one of the residential neighborhoods in Kharkiv that was heavily suffered under the Russian shelling at the beginning of Russian full-scale invasion — ed.] and the village of Zhukovskyi. According to the mayor, specialists restored power on the same day, and now all districts of Kharkiv have electricity.

Ihor Terekhov said that the rescuers continue to clean up the aftermath of the attack.
