UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec 2 – The Government of the Republic of Korea, with the support of Ukraine’s Ministry of Health, has provided two specialized medical vehicles to Kharkiv Oblast doctors. A Danish non-governmental charitable organization handed over another ambulance with medicines to the region, the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported.
Since the start of the Russian full-scale invasion, many countries have provided Ukraine with ambulances and other vehicles to support the country’s healthcare efforts.
“The ambulance fleet and emergency medical services in the region has suffered damage due to the constant armed aggression of the Russian military in Kharkiv region. Therefore, to perform their duties more efficiently, Kharkiv region medics were provided with special vehicles,” the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported.
On September 12, the World Health Organization provided Ukraine with ambulances with the support of the German government and the USAID Foundation.
