The authorities of Kharkiv region are preparing a decision on the forced evacuation of frontline settlements, the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said on October 25.

He urged citizens to evacuate.

“We are preparing a decision on the forced evacuation of families with children from 10 settlements of Kupyansk, Kindrashivka and Kurylivka communities in Kupyansk district. There are 275 children there,” the RMA press service quotes Syniehubov.

He emphasized that children can be evacuated only with their parents or other caregivers.

“We also recommend that civilians, especially families with children, evacuate from the Borivska community of Izyum district, including Borova. Currently, 8900 people live there, including 844 children,” the head of the region added.

Over the year, since the fall of 2022, more than 67,000 residents have been evacuated from the de-occupied districts of Kherson and Kharkiv regions, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories reported.
