UNITED KINGDOM, LONDON, May 14 — Olha Vynnyk, a photographer from Kharkiv, will participate in the London Art Biennale 2025, one of the UK’s most famous international art events.
The London Art Biennale takes place every two years in Chelsea, one of the city’s most cultural districts. It is a museum-quality award show featuring works in art, sculpture, photography, installation, and mixed media. The International Confederation of Art Critics, the Chianciano Art Museum, and the Gagliardi Gallery curate the exhibition.
This year, the event will take place from 16 to 20 July, and 350 artists from more than 60 countries will participate, including Olha.
Olha Vynnyk started her career in Kharkiv but moved to the UK because of the war. She will present the work “A moment of eternity,” a photo of the North Devon landscapes. In this photo, the author tries to investigate the topics of time, silence, and stability.
The BBC documentary Ukraine: Enemy in the Woods, about defending Kharkiv from Russian troops, recently won the BAFTA TV Awards 2025 in the single documentary category.
