Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov met with Philipp von Michaelis, Global Clearance Solutions General Manager.

Global Clearance Solutions (GCS) company was founded in 2015 in Switzerland, has production facilities in Germany, and is now opening an official representative office in Kyiv.

Philip von Michaelis noted that GCS produces demining machines and helps to clear areas of explosive objects. In Ukraine, the company already supplies equipment to the State Emergency Service, the police, and the Armed Forces and plans to conduct thematic training sessions for the public.

The manager also said that GCS is considering building a branch of the German plant in Ukraine, which could be in Kharkiv. Ihor Terekhov emphasized that the city government will provide comprehensive support to the Swiss company.

“We will give you benefits to work here. Regarding the training of specialists for service maintenance and production, if you have the desire to open it in Kharkiv, we will definitely do all this,” said Mayor Terekhov.
