KHARKIV, UKRAINE, JAN 18 — Currently, there are 12 victims in the hospital, three of them have severe injuries.
Women aged 39 and 43, who were seriously injured in the shelling, are now in the neurosurgery department. Another 77-year-old victim is in the toxicology department after carbon monoxide poisoning. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
“Other patients have moderate or light injuries. Among the injuries are head traumas, fragmentary wounds, and fractures,” the statement said.

At around 9:43 p.m. on January 16, two explosions occurred in Kharkiv. The Russian military launched a missile attack on a residential sector in the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv, the regional prosecutor’s office said.
Emergency workers rescued one woman and evacuated 30 people. According to preliminary information, a total of 17 people were injured.
