KHARKIV OBLAST, UKRAINE, JAN 4 — The head of International Criminal Court investigations into international crimes in Ukraine, Brenda Hollis, paid a visit to the Kharkiv region.
The press office of the General Prosecutor’s Office reported on it.
Along with the General Prosecutor of Ukraine, Andriy Kostin, she visited Russian missile hit sites within the civil infrastructure. As such, she went to the Hroza village, where a Russian missile attack killed 59 civilians.

According to data from the law enforcement structures, since December 23, 2023, Russia conducted 29 missile attacks and four drone strikes on Kharkiv, killing five people and injuring 99, eight children among the latter.
Currently, the Kharkiv region investigates more than 21,000 war crimes. The General Prosecutor’s Office says they’re collaborating with the ICC in the investigation into murders of civilians and shelling of the region’s infrastructure.
On July 3, 2024, the International Office for investigating Russian invasion in Ukraine was opened in The Hague. An International Criminal Court branch will be established in Ukraine. Prosecutor’s General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin and ICC secretary Peter Lewis signed an agreement to create it.
