UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec 5 – On the evening of December 4, at about 6:25 p.m., the Russian army dropped a glide bomb (KAB) on houses in Kupiansk, killing a 40-year-old man, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.
Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian shelling and airstrikes, often during the full-scale invasion, as Moscow targets civilian and critical infrastructure in the region.
The bomb attack also injured two women aged 40 and 69, who suffered an acute stress reaction.
On the same day, an FPV drone hit a civilian car at the outskirts of Kupiansk, injuring a 65-year-old man.
In addition, the Russians attacked the village of Oleksandrivka in the Zolochiv community with a drone strike, damaging a house. There were no casualties.
On November 26, Oleh Syniehubov said that during the past day, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv Oblast with 19 glide bombs and 11 drones, seven of which were downed by Ukraine’s air defense forces.
