UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec 3 – On the morning of December 2, Russians attacked the village of Prystyn, Kupiansk district, with a multiple rocket launcher, injuring an 80-year-old woman, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast.

Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian shelling and airstrikes, often during the full-scale invasion, as Moscow targets civilian and critical infrastructure in the region.

The Russian shelling also damaged five houses in Prystyn, the governor said.

In addition, around 10 p.m., Russians also attacked Kupiansk with multiple rocket launchers, damaging seven houses in the city. There is no information on casualties.

Andrii Besedin, head of the Kupiansk city military administration, said that as of December 1, the distance from Kupiansk to the frontline is less than 1,5 miles, and the Russians continue to try to break through the Ukrainian defense in this direction every day. He added that about 3,700 civilians remain there, and all the children were evacuated.
