UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, July 2 — Russian troops attacked a private enterprise in Pivdenne, Kharkiv district, injuring four people. The attack destroyed a warehouse building and damaged a power line, reported Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast Governor.
Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.
Oleh Syniehubov said that currently, employees of the State Emergency Service (SES) and other emergency services are working on the aftermath of the Russian attack in Pivdenne.
In addition, the Russian army dropped a guided bomb (KAB) on the territory of a civilian enterprise in Kharkiv, causing no casualties. The governor said the Russians also shelled the village of Kozacha Lopan, damaging a private house.
Syniehubov also reported that Russia shelled a grain field near the village of Karasivka in the Zolochiv community, trying to destroy the harvest. A fire broke out at the site.
Viktor Kovalenko, head of the Zolochiv village military administration, said that the local authorities of the Zolochiv community called for a mandatory evacuation of children due to a possible Russian army offensive.
Viktor Kovalenko noted that all children had been evacuated from the border villages of Ivashky and Tymofiivka in the Zolochiv community, Kharkiv region. In total, the authorities plan to evacuate 1,740 people from the border districts of the Zolochiv community.
