UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, June 25 — On the afternoon of June 24, the Russians shelled a school in Novoplatonivka, Izium district, which they had already damaged earlier, reported Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast Governor.
Towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast come under massive Russian artillery shelling and airstrikes often, even more so since Russia launched a new ground offensive north and northeast of the region in the Vovchansk and Lyptsi directions in May.
Syniehubov said that on the evening of June 24, the Russian army dropped glide bombs (KABs) on Kharkiv and Kharkiv districts. There were no casualties.
On the afternoon of June 24, Russians attacked Odnorobivka in the Zolochiv district. The Russian shelling from multiple rocket launchers damaged a one-story apartment building, a house extension, and power lines.
According to Syniehubov, four settlements are left without power due to the shelling. Power engineers are working to restore the power supply to the 718 homes.
Over the past day, Russian troops also shelled Liubotyn, Vilshana, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, and other settlements in the region. They damaged residential buildings and outbuildings.
In Staryi Saltiv, Chuhuiv district, the Russian shelling damaged a building of a repair station, a warehouse, a car, three combines, four trucks, two apartment buildings, and two houses.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address on June 22 that since the beginning of June, Russia has dropped more than 2,400 glide bombs on Ukraine, hitting the Kharkiv region with about 700 of them.
