UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 10 — In the Kupiansk direction, the Ukrainian military repelled Russian attacks 17 times near Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Vyshneve, Novoosynove, Zelenyi Hai, and Kruhliakivka, reported the General Staff.

One of the main goals of the Russian full-scale war is to capture the remainder of occupied Luhansk and Donetsk Oblast; their operations on the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line are dedicated to that. From this section of the frontline, they also aim to push into Kharkiv Oblast and re-occupy Kupiansk and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, important logistics hubs for the region.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians attacked four times in the areas of Tykhe and Vovchansk.

In total, the Russian military launched four missile strikes (used seven missiles) and 85 airstrikes, including 160 glide bombs (KABs) and 1,600 kamikaze drone strikes at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas across the frontline. They also fired over 4,000 times at the Ukrainian military positions and settlements, including 135 times with multiple launch rocket systems.
