UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct 25 —  In the Kupiansk direction, there were 14 Russian attacks over the past day. Ukrainian troops repelled them near seven settlements, reported the General Staff.

One of the main goals of the Russian full-scale war is to capture the remainder of occupied Luhansk and Donetsk Oblast; their operations on the Kupiansk-Svatove-Kreminna line are dedicated to that. From this section of the frontline, they also aim to push into Kharkiv Oblast and re-occupy Kupiansk and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, important logistics hubs for the region.

In the Kupiansk direction, clashes occurred near Holubivka, Pishchane, Lozova, Kruhliakivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka, and Vyshneve.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army attacked the Ukrainian military nine times near the towns of Vovchansk and Tykhe.

Russia launched a missile strike, using two rockets and 85 airstrikes, dropping 153 glide bombs (KABs) on Ukrainian positions and towns and villages over the past day in total. They also fired over 4,000 times at Ukrainian forces, including 130 times from multiple launch rocket systems, and used about 1,500 kamikaze drones to attack.
