On September 3, the Russian army shelled Kupyansk. As a result, a 59-year-old man was wounded. He was hospitalized. A shopping center was also destroyed in the city. The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this.

In addition, at night, around 02:00, Russian troops fired on the village of Shyikivka in Izium district. The adversary damaged the building of the canteen. There were no casualties as a result of the shelling. In the village of Cherneshchyna, on September 3, the Russian army destroyed two private houses with a guided aerial bomb.

Udy, Vovchansk, Hatyshche, Budarky, Vilkhuvatka and other settlements were also under Russian fire. Civilian infrastructure was damaged, and forest fires broke out due to the shelling.
