UKRAINE, July 2 — A volunteer and combat medic from the United Kingdom, Peter Fouché, has been killed at the frontline in Ukraine, reported the press service of the Project Konstantin charitable foundation on Facebook.

“On the shield: Peter “Hasta La Vista” Fouché. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Pete, our beloved director and founder,” the foundation reported.

Peter Fouché from the UK has been deeply involved in Ukraine since March 2022. Initially, he worked on building a field hospital near Kyiv and served in both the Territorial Defense Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As the General Director and Founder of Project Konstantin, Peter oversaw military relations and managed all frontline operations, including coordinating volunteers on the ground.

The foundation informed that during the Russian full-scale invasion, Peter Fouché rescued more than 200 wounded Ukrainian soldiers, evacuated civilians from the most dangerous frontline cities and towns, and delivered humanitarian aid to people in these settlements.

“Pete’s bravery and selflessness in the face of danger were nothing short of extraordinary, and his actions will forever be etched in our hearts. Pete was more than a leader; he was a beacon of hope, a true hero, and a friend to all. His wisdom, compassion, and faith in God inspired us every day,” the charitable foundation wrote.

The foundation added that it will continue its work in his memory.
