Kharkiv Oblast has more than 1.2 million hectares of agricultural land. 570 thousand hectares of this land are considered to be mined, reports Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration.
“We have a huge demand for increasing the number of sappers and providing them with modern equipment and tech. They [will become] a resource we will use first for clearing out our region and then other regions of Ukraine. Apart from us, no one will do that,” Oleh Syniehubov said.
