“I don’t know what to tell you… What happened here is terrible. It’s all our work,” says Viktoria, the owner of the clothing store that was damaged in the Russian attack. Viktoria says it’s difficult to count the losses because she doesn’t yet know what products remain intact—but her store “doesn’t have walls, doors.”

“It’s not clear what’s going to happen to business next, but we’ve been promised a new spot for the shop, and then we’ll see,” Viktoria adds.

The president of AVEK and KO, a company that owns Barabashovo, Andii Vinakov, says that the overall area of damage is 14,000 square kilometers. He says that over 250 commercial objects have been damaged. “The security was inside during the shelling, but, luckily, they didn’t get injured,” Vinakov said.

He added that the restoration of Barabashovo is in plans, but “it’s difficult to say when [it’ll start].”

Just an hour and a half later after this attack, another Russian drone attacked the object of transport infrastructure in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv.
